Called "The World's Most Handsome Bike Ride", Eroica Britannia is a spectacular, fun-filled weekend for the whole family. This weekend, 17-19 June, pack your camping gear, vintage bikes and and head to Bakewell. For those that plan to take part in the ride, there are a few rules and regulations to follow. One of those is proper attire.

The official website lists their "10 Commandments" and number 9 states "Participants must be dressed in vintage or era specific clothing". So what classifies as appropriate? A good place to state is wearing vintage wool jerseys and shorts. If you don't have any vintage attire, you can try De Marchi or even search "vintage cycling jersey" on eBay.

Riders are not only encouraged to wear era specific clothing, but also wear leather shoes and use aluminium water bottles. Clipless pedals are not allowed, instead use toeclips with straps or flat pedals. We will have both Tourer and Fixed available for sale at our booth if you are still looking for your proper footwear.
